Features

Required List of Documents

- Motivation letter (In the letter it is necessary to specify the purpose of your arrival and what practical benefits will be derived from the technology sector of the country);
- Letter of recommendation from an expert in digital tech with whom the candidate has worked in the last 5 years (can be a colleague of the candidate in the same company);
- 2 letters of recommendation from client companies from the digital tech sphere with whom the candidate has worked in the last 5 years (can be partners from third-party companies or clients);
- Project portfolio (presentations of projects for the last years with description of the project, project duration and financial results);
- Media recognition (presentation with publications in official media and links to these publications);
- Company financials (company financials for the last 5 years containing revenues and revenue growth graphs);
- Personal financial indicators (a document describing the total income of the company, as well as containing a table of periods and the amount of dividends/salary payments).
Submission procedure
- Gathering the required package of documents;
- Submitting documents to Home office for approval from Tech Nation before applying for Talent visa;
- Submission of Talent visa documents to the British Embassy;
- Handing in biometric data at the British Embassy (in the country of residence or in the country of residence permit you have);
- Obtaining a short-term visa valid for up to 3 months;
- Entering the UK and applying for a residence permit card;
- Receiving a residence permit card.
Acquisition Timeline
- Rceiving approval from Tech Nation: up to 8 weeks;
- Talent visa application processing: up to 1 month (if applying from the UK: up to 8 weeks);
- Receipt of residence permit card: up to 1 month.
Application fee
- £524 - application for approval from Tech Nation;
- £192 - visa fee;
- £624 - health insurance (payable annually);
- £716 - fee for each family member.
Extension of UK residence permit
- After the expiry of the initial residence permit, you can apply for an extension of the residence permit for up to 5 years;
- In addition, it is necessary to provide proof of financial income during the period of stay in the UK
- You can extend your residence permit an unlimited number of times;
- Renewal fee is £716 for the main applicant and £716 for each subsequent family member.
British citizenship
Requirements
- Be over 18 years of age;
- Have no criminal record;
- You can apply for citizenship after 5 years of residence in the UK on a talent visa of which the last 12 months without leaving the country;
- Proof of residence in the UK for 5 years (payment of utility bills);
*Not be absent for more than 450 days within 5 years and no more than 90 days in the last year before applying for citizenship.
